Dear Camelot College,

Hi my name is Ember.  I am a patient access coordinator at the Baton Rouge General.  When I first enrolled into Camelot College, I did not expect for the process to be as smooth as it was.  I had a team of staff and mentors available at my fingertips ready to help me along the way.

The course lasted three months, and during those three months I knew that I was about to embark on a new journey in life, at the time I just wasn't sure what it was.  A few weeks after graduation, I received a call from the Baton Rouge General asking if I would be interested in an interview with them.  Fast forward to the start of 2022, my life has changed so much.  I am now able to dedicate time to my children and have the perfect work-life balance.  Camelot College is a blessing and they definitely are fulfilling their purpose.

Thank you Camelot College!

Sincerely,

Ember Collins

Dear Camelot College,

Hi, my name is Roneshia Whitaker. When I made a phone call to Camelot College, I wasn't expecting to even apply to become an Administrative Medical Assitant.  Once Pastor Williams presented the course to me, I decided that this was a new and challenging field to apply for.  I applied fot he Camelot College Administrative Medical Assistant program in the fall August 23, 2021.  I finished the program on November 11, 2021 with a 4.0 G.P.A.  I was ectatic to finish with excellent recognition.  The course was very informative and knowledgeable.  Pastor Williams, Vice President Aaron Simon and Instructor Lashawn Sullivan played a major role in helping and preparing me for the medical field.

I applied for numberous jobs after the program ended.  I had two interviews and my second interview was with the Louisiana Edoscopy Center.  I went back on December 14, 2021 to shadow for the position.  After I shadowed with the manager, they hired me right after describing the job position, which will be a surgical cleaning technician and they offer cross traing for different positions at the job.  I'm excited to accomplish many educational skills and training within the medical field.  Louisiana Endoscopy Center will become my new place of employment on January 3, 2022.  I owe Camelot College for giving me the opportunity to apply for jobs within the medical field.  If I would not have called Camelot in June 2021, I would not be stepping into the medical field with a purpose to excel and grow.

"With God all things are possible."  I'm a firm believer of that famous scripture.

Sincerely,

Roneshia Whitaker

Dear Camelot College,

My name is Summer Louviere; I graduated Camelot College in October 2021. I've been in the medical field for 8 years neow, but always felt stuck in the position I was in and was never going to continue to grow.  I finally decided to continue my education and went to meet with Ms. Nancy where she guided me in the right direction and introduced me to Camelot College.  The minute I signed up a couple of days later Pastor Williams called me and was so uplifting I knew this was the right choice for me!  Ms. Cascille did an amazing job trying to find me a job, everyday I got at least 12 jobs to apply for and in 2 days I've had 2 interviews, and received an amazing job opportunity at Lafayette Surgical Hospital, where I have so much more room to grow.

Everyone works really hard to help you as much as they can.  No question is a bad question. Everyone is extremely supportive in helping you succeed, and to stay determined.  Ms. LaShawn Sullivan did an amazing job teaching us everything we needed to know in such a short amount of time, with all her experience and knowledge and positive personality she made it so easy to want to learn.

Pastor Williams always had an amazing phrase that he would say almost every week of class that still replays in my head everyday and I hope it sticks with all of you.  "Always be DETERMINED for greatness, Always remain DEDICATED to be your best in attendance, academics and attitude to achieve success, and Always remain DEVOTED to fulfilling GOD's plan and purpose for your life!  The 4 D's will get you through anything in life and still to this day it remains in my heart!

I owe a huge thanks to Pastor Williams, Mr. Aaron Simon, Instructor Sullivan, and Ms. Cascille Courtney, and I pray each and every one of you come out on top.  My favorite bible quote is "With GOD all things are possible" and it is very true!

"Perseverance is key!"

Thank you!!!

Dear Camelot College,

My name is Anjanique Hansley.  I graduated from Camelot College on May 14, 2021, as an Administrative Medical Assistant.  Upon attending the program at Camelot College, I was a bit indesisive on the career path I wanted to achieve.  I believe it was a sign from God that allowed me to hear the advertisement for the Administrative Medical Assistant program on the radio, that led me to where I am today. My initial, and warmest welcoming, conversation started with Pastor Williams.  He went over all the criteria and encouraged me to start the career path God has called for me.  His wife, Mrs. Williams, and himself, from that moment, never left my side.

Later, I then met Mr. Simon.  He, too, was also such a big encouragement on my life.  He made sure I was fully registered and ready to begin the program.  I then later met my instructor, Ms. Sullivan.  She was an amazing instructor who took the time to make sure each one of her students was just a knowledgeable as she was.  Her benevolent spirit and intelligence allowed me to stay focused and excel in the course.  I cannot thank her enough.

After graduation, I became a little overwhelmed.  Confused as to what were my next steps in job placement, I became a little discouraged.  But, sure enough, I was surrounded by the same amazing individuals who never gave up on me, including Ms. Cascille, who worked day and night to help find the perfect job for me.

Last but not least, I owe a great debt of gratitude to Ms. Angie Hougland and the entire GeauxJobs team for providing the funding and support for me to complete my education.

On June 3rd, 2021, I was offered a position at Baton Rouge General Hospital.  I thank God for the opportunity and the amazing people he placed in my life to achieve the goals I set.  I'm blessed and honored to be a 2021 graduate of Camelot College. With God, ALL things are possible.

Thank you All.

Dear Camelot College,

My name is Tracy Landry, I graduated from Camelot College in May 2021.  After graduation, it was a challenge trying to find a job in the medical field considering my past 20 plus years of work experience was in accounting and oilfield.  It did take me a little time to find a place who was willing to give me a chance and to gain some medical work experience.  But thanks to the amazing staff at Camelot College, Pastor & Mrs. Williams, Mr. Aaron Simon, Instructor Sullivan, Ms. Cascille Courtney and Mrs. Rita James, together with their help I was prepared and we remained diligent and consistent and all the hard work paid off and I received an amazing job opportunity with Amedisys Home Health Agency!!  They all coached me and supported me which helped me to begin this new chapter in my life!  They never gave up on me and I will forever be grateful to each of them.

From the very first day that I began my journey with Camelot College, everyone was extremely supportive and encouraging in so many ways!  From the first time I spoke on the phone with Pastor Williams and Mr. Simon I knew I was in the right place and in good hands.  You can not be in their presence and not feel motivated and confident and safe.  It was truly a gift from God that I received this opportunity.  Also, if if hadn't been for Ms. Nancy Broussard who guided me in the right direction to Camelot College, I wouldn't be where I am today.

Everyone has worked really hard to help us succeed.  Ms. Cascille worked tirelessly to help me find the perfect job and was always willing to answer any questions I had and always gave me the best advice and steered me in the right direction.  Mrs. Rita James helped me update my resume and offered such great advice as well.  Camelot College truly made my education and job search a priority to them from the very first day up until I received my job and beyond.

Last but not least, I must mention my instructor, Mr. LaShawn Sullivan, she taught me everything I needed to know to prepare me for mynew job!  She shared so much of her knowledge and experience with our class and was very patient with us as well as supportive and very informative.

I could go on and on about everyone there but I will close with the infamous words of Pastor Williams, Always be DETERMINED to achieve success, never give up, always remain DEDICATED to be your best in attendance, academics and attitude and always remain DEVOTED to fulfilling God's plan and purpose for your life!!!

"WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE"

Thank you!!

Dear Camelot College,

My name is Gabrielle Scott and after I graduated from Camelot College inJanuary of 2021, I hoped that I would find a great job soon after.  And I can admit it was hard at first because the only experience I had was working at Popeyes for about three years.  But if it wasn't for the amazing staff at Cameot College, Ms. Rita James, Pastor Williams and Mr. Simon, I probably would not be as prepared as I am now.  Thans to Camelot College!  They were really amazing in teaching me and once I graduated, they worked tirelessly to help me to find the perfect job at The Baton Rouge General Medical Hospital Bluebonnet.  They coached me and led me in the right direction.  I am forever grateful for these wonderful individuals, Pastor Williams, Ms. Rita, Mr. Simon and I can not forget my Online Instructor, Professor Sullivan, who was my teacher.  She taught me everything I needed to know so I could be my best on my new job!

Thank you!

Dear Camelot College,

I attended Camelot College from 2009 until 2010 when I graduated.  Camelot was wonderful and the staff and Pastor Williams were phenomenal to myself and my, at that time, young daughter.  I was able to stay on campus at the time so it was very convenient.  My daughter went to daycare on campus which was a relief to have her so close.  The classes that I attended were very educational and I was able to perform a lot of hands-on training.  I will forever be grateful for my experience and my time spent there.

I now work for a company that is contracted through the SEC to perform all Covid-19 testing for all athletic departments at LSU.  My salary is more than fair compensation and I would have never been able to procure this position had I not attended Camelot.

If you’re thinking about working in the medical field then please go there, see how they interact with the students and you will make the decision, as I did, to become a Camelot alumni.

"What Camelot College Means to Me"

Before I can tell you about what Camelot College means to me I have to tell you where I was before I came here.  I have two daughters, 15 and 4 years old.  We were living in New Orleans in a not so good neighborhood.  I was working five (5) days a week 12 hour shifts and still wasn't making ends meet.  I was on the verge of getting evicted "BUT GOD" had a plan.  One day my mom called me and told me that she would help me.  So on November 1, 2015 we moved to Baton Rouge into my mom's one (1) bedroom apartment.  I had no money, no job, and no direction, but I had faith that my God would make a way out of no way.

One day while my children were in school and I was looking for a job, I saw a commercial about Camelot College.  At the time I didn't think about it much.  Later that evening when my mom came home she was telling me about her day at work.  So, I asked where did she go to school at.  She told me Camelot College which was the second time in one day that I had heard the name Camelot.  So that night I prayed and asked God for direction.  I was on my way to a job interview and saw a billboard for Camelot College.  So, that afternoon I went online and asked for more information.  I asked my mom about her time at Camelot and she told me about her experience and about Pastor Williams and her teachers.

After speaking to Kim Johnson, I had a great feeling.  I finally had some direction.  I would go to Camelot College, study, show myself approved, graduate and get certified, find a job making enough money to take care of the bills and still have money left over.  And then I could be at home with my girls in the evening.  Camelot is giving me the chance not to just have another job but a career.  I could now show my daughters that no matter what happens in life to always trust God, always be determined to never give up and to stay focused.  Also, that they can do all things through Christ Jesus.  Camelot has opened doors for me that once were closed.  I believe God brought me to better my life. I thank God for Camelot and Pastor Williams.

"What Camelot College Means to Me"

First let me start off by giving God all the praises, honor and glory.  For me, Camelot College gave me a second chance at my dream.  As a child I always loved helping people.  And being the sole caretaker for my mom at the age of 12 wasn't easy.  Unlike so many other children my age; I didn't get to go outside and play or even go to school.  My mom had a stroke at the age of 34 and I was the eldest of three kids so for me my life went in another direction.  I wanted to go to school like the normal kids, but God had other plans for me.  As a child I wanted to be a nurse because I love doing for others.

So I promised my mom that no matter how long it takes me I'm going to get my GED.  Then one day as I was reading the advocate newspaper I saw this ad that said Camelot College and the M.A. program and in bold it also stated that it offered the HISET.  I said to myself, am I dreaming, did they say you can get your HISET and complete the M.A. program at the same time?  I was like God is speaking to me right now.  This is my second chance at completing my education and doing what I love doing which is helping people.  And let me tell you that it was the best thing I could have done.

Camelot College has taught me so much about the medical field and the teacher's let me tell you, they are awesome.  You can't ask for a better teaching staff than the teaching staff at Camelot College.  They will work with you one on one if you need it.  They provide you with email addresses and their personal phone numbers.  What more can you ask for?  So, there's no excuse for failing or not passing your classes.  It takes determination, dedication and devotion and being in class every day and on time.  There is no place you can get the things that Camelot College offers you anywhere.  I will be taking my HISET this month.  I've completed the 4th session with all A's and perfect attendance and I've studied and worked hard for all of it, and if I can do it at the age of 47 you can too.  And if it wasn't for God and Camelot College I don't know where I'd be.  So I want to say thank you to all the staff and to Mrs. Hill, Mr. Simon and Pastor Williams for giving me a second chance to complete my HISET and M.A. programs.  Thanks alot  I'll never forget you.

Dear Camelot College,

To whom this concern, I am Trevior Christy.  Camelot College has changed my life tremendously.  Before I enrolled into Camelot College I was homeless.  Healing Place Church blessed me with a place to stay while I attended Camelot.  Camelot College was my foundation, but God was my strength, my rock, my everything and I give glory to God first.

I went through may trials while attending Camelot College.  The Lord and Pastor Williams kept me grounded.  I now work at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital and Sunrise Assisted Living.  I now have my own place to live and my own car!  I know that everything is possible if you just believe.  For those who are out there, remember to keep God first.  I thank you Pastor Williams, Camelot College and Healing Place Church.  To God be the glory!

Dear Camelot College,

The day I enrolled at Camelot College was the day my life changed for the better. I've always had the vision that I could do tremendous things in life, but I never knew when that day would come being a mother of four and for that reason I thought it would be hard to achieve the goals I planned.

Camelot College offered me the opportunity to change my life for the better by giving me a great educational opportunity.  I have been employed at Baton Rouge General Mid City Laboratory since graduating from Camelot in 2010.  I started as a Phlebotomist and have since been promoted to a PreAnalytic Technician.  Due to the quality skills and training Camelot has provided me I have been able to provide for my family and far more than I ever expected.  I've been able to clear debt, better my credit, purchase a vehicle, save money & work towards home ownership.

Without the love and support from my family and the Camelot family, I don't know where I would be today. Since graduating from Camelot College, I am a full believer and a walking testimony of the scripture Rev. Williams always quoted which is, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

The fact that Camelot College offers so many career classes within the Medical Assistant program, I'm able to be a versatile employee that can explore many other job opportunities within the medical field.  I thank GOD and Rev. Williams for Camelot College.

Sincerely,

Dear Camelot College,

First, I would like to give full honor, glory and thanks to God Almighty for His Grace which allowed me to start and complete my Medical Assistant program.

My name is Mya Roberts, a Medical Assistant graduate from Camelot College.  Graduating from Camelot was one of the best things that ever happened to me and the best thing was bringing my daughter My'Asia into this world who has always inspired me to better my life.  Even as a high school Senior, I was excited about Camelot College and started classes fresh out of high school.  I would like to thank the Camelot Staff, Teachers and Administrators for their love, support and effort in helping me achieve my goals.  My teachers were great in assisting me with what I needed in class.  I am excited about what I have learned about the Medical field and also excited about the things to come.

Rev. Williams always said, "Remember We Can do All Things Through Christ Who Strengthens Us" and I am a believer of that.  I did my externship at The Baton Rouge General Hospital in the phlebotomy department drawing blood and had no idea I would be hired.  As a result of my training at Camelot College, I am now a Phlebotomist at Baton Rouge General Hospital Mid City Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  Thanks to Camelot College my life has been a blessing.  My medical experience will also be a stepping stone for RN classes in the future.  I am grateful and truly believe that "With God ALL Things Are Possible".

Thanks Camelot College,

Cosmetology Graduate

Dear Camelot College,

Upon arriving on the campus and speaking with the office personnel and my instructor, I could see why Rev. Williams embraced the slogan Camelot College is "The College That Cares".

I think having On Campus Housing and On Campus Child-Daycare is just some of the many services that sets Camelot apart from the rest.

One of the great things about attending Camelot College was the instructors equipped me with the knowledge needed to prepare me for the Cosmetology State Board Test.

Some of the things I really liked was the class competitions such as the quarterly hair shows and I also liked various professionals such as local salon owners and stylists visiting our classes and sharing information.

As a result of my training at Camelot College, I am currently a salon manager at Smart Styles Beauty Salon here in Baton Rouge.  I would highly recommend anyone who is considering a Cosmetology Career to allow Camelot College to lead you on the road to your destiny.

Sincerely,

Erica Elzy

Dear Camelot College,

My name is Tyeisha Hagger.  I would like to start off by saying put God first in everything you do and he will help you achieve your goals.  When God Gives You Vision, He Will Also Give You Provision.

I am the proud mother of two lovely daughters, Breanna and Re'Veon.  They are the reason I am who I am today and they are one of the main reasons I wanted to better my life starting with Camelot College.

It is with gratitude that I inform you of my success that God has given to me.

I am a Licensed Cosmetologist as a result of my training at Camelot College.  I am currently employed at Serenity Salon Care in Baton Rouge.

Making my customer look and feel beautiful is my passion.  I like to see them smile and when they smile, I smile.

The On Campus Child Daycare helped me to make my decision to attend Camelot.  It has really been instrumental in helping me to achieve my goals.  I also like the fact that the Daycare still keeps my kids even as I work everyday.

I am blessed to have had the opportunity to attend Camelot College.

Yours In Christ,

Tyeisha Hagger
