Prospective students must meet the following requirements prior to enrollment:

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES OR EQUIVALENT

  • Applicant must be a high school graduate, have G.E.D. certification or have satisfied the requirements of high school graduation through an accredited, state approved home study course. High school diplomas and G.E.D. certificates will be evaluated per the policy listed in the school catalog upon admission into the College.

  • Applicant must have an interest in the program to which he/she is applying.
  • A person on whom the institution fails to receive financial aid or funding from an alternative source will not be recognized as a student.
  • All applicants must provide proof of immunization compliance as per Louisiana R.S. 17:170/Schools of Higher Learning.
  • Applicant must undergo an administrative interview prior to admission.

 

HIGH SCHOOL NON-COMPLETERS

 

**CAMELOT COLLEGE CAREER PATHWAY PROGRAM**

  • Applicants 17 years or older who do not meet the high school or G.E.D. requirements, but whose abilities and qualifications indicate aptitude may qualify for admissions through our NEW Career Pathway Program as long as they:
    • Achieve a passing score of at least 200/210 on the Wonderlic Ability to Benefit Test (ATB)
    • Concurrently enroll into our connected Adult Education program and attend classes Monday through Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
    • And participate in regular ATB counseling to measure their success in both their academic program and Adult Education training.
  • Applicants may also conditionally enroll in and successfully complete six credit hours or the equivalent course work applicable toward an eligible career pathway program offered by Camelot College (Advanced Medical Assistant Only).  Applicants must also adhere to the above stipulation regarding concurrent enrollment in the connected Adult Education program and participation in regular ATB counseling under this provision.  Applicants under this provision are not eligible to receive Title IV aid while earning the six credit hours and must make satisfactory payment arrangements fo the six credit hours before attending classes.
  • Applicant must have an interest in the program to which he/she is applying.
